This is the continuation of the previous posting of photo galleries on jew street from Cochin..Here let me give you some more light with photos of things like antiques, handicrafts ,a huge snake boat,elephant sculptures and other goods sold in the old jew street..The street is so lively with much sellers all around and also many spice shops..

You may have heard about the snake boat race conducted yearly in Kerala.This is the one used in that....The tourists can buy anything out of these shops and their are some shops which does all the formalities for shipping .....

Some what similar pieces of lights are used inside the Synagogue...But those inside the synagogue are surely precious than these ones for their age, and are bought from some other countries..

The antiques shop is having an entry fee for the exhibition..Somewhat about 50 RS/-.another 50 for photography...So i decided what is better for my pocket....

Wana visit the only synagogue in Kerala..
Timings:- 10 - noon, 3 - 5pm..Closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Jewish Holidays..
There is a dress code to enter the synagogue:- Full sleeve shirts and trousers for men, and Women, sport long skirt well below the Knee...Its written that t shirts, sleeveless etc are not allowed..
Even though things are not watched exactly like this for its not practical, but you should be dressed modestly..Thats all..
The place is in Mattancherry..Very near to Cochin or Ernakulam..bus and boat services are always there from Ernakulam.....
